OK ... After popular demand and a lot of discussion, here is the recipe for the "Mosaiko" or "Salami" or "Kormos" as it is called in Northern Greece :-)
Ingredients
- 250gr Petit beurre
- 250gr Unsalted Butter
- 250gr brown sugar
- 250gr cocoa powder
- pinch of grated nutmeg
- Cognac or coffee liqueur, according to taste
- Foil
How to:
- Crush the cookies in a bag
- Mix with the sugar, cocoa powder and nutmeg
- Add butter
- Add liquor (start by adding a capful until you get the consistency you like)
- Knead with your hands until everything is incorporated well.
- Get some foil, coat it with unsalted butter, and form the mix into a roll, wrap it up and put it in the freezer for about 2 hours.
- Serve it in slices
